About CSC

It's almost inevitable. Whichever coffee shop you walk into, you will most likely be greeted by the smell of coffee grinds, the sound of milk being steamed, and a friendly, "Welcome!" from the nearest barista. There will be the dull chatter of people talking to each other, the quiet tapping of others working on their laptops, and the rustling of pages by patrons who have lived a long life and know the value of sitting back and reading a printed newspaper. Though the look of the coffee shop may change from season to season and from coffee shop to coffee shop, these are the things that remain pretty constant. It is enough to make every coffee shop feel a little familiar, like a place of comfort, and a little like home.

It is as if this feeling of comfort makes coffee shops a place of meeting. They have become our modern day dinner table, where old friends come to catch up, blind dates come to safely meet for the first time, small meetings are held, families come together, and where good friends always end up to gossip, vent, and talk about both nothing and everything. If you look and listen closely, you will observe and possibly meet some of the funniest, most inspirational people. That is my experience, at least.

That is what this blog is for: It is dedicated to the funny, ridiculous, and inspirational things that are seen and heard everyday in the world's coziest businesses.

If you have a Coffee Shop Confession that you would like to share, please email it here.
